ABOUT
I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology at UMass Amherst in 2009 and my master’s degree in psychology from Westfield State University in 2015, also earning the Bazemore, Edwards, & Warner Award for LGBT issue advancement. I am EMDR Certified and trained in a variety of trauma-healing methods, including Progressive Counting, Flash, and ART. I am also an IPI-trained Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy provider, as ketamine, when administered in a safe and controlled setting, can unlock the brain's neuroplastic windows, facilitating the creation of new neural pathways and enhancing cognitive flexibility. These modalities allow for a shift in perspective, enabling individuals to navigate daily life with greater fluidity and grace, shedding the shackles of internal vigilance.
I utilize a compassionate and innovative approach with these techniques and my years of practice to help clients heal from past wounds, and as a trained Geek Therapist, I can also incorporate your passions into the healing process.
My approach emphasizes the importance of a collaborative therapeutic relationship. I work closely with clients to:
Understand the impact of trauma: Exploring how past experiences have shaped current patterns of thinking and behavior.
Facilitate the ketamine experience: Providing a safe and supportive environment for ketamine administration and integration.
Integrate insights: Helping clients process and make sense of their ketamine experiences, translating them into actionable strategies for daily life.
Build resilience: Developing coping mechanisms and fostering self-compassion to navigate future challenges.
Rewrite the narrative: Empowering clients to reclaim their stories and create a more fulfilling and empowered life.
Many clients experience a powerful sense of liberation, an unshackling from the weight of the past. Clients describe feeling "lighter" and "free," no longer burdened by this lingering heaviness. Self-love, self-compassion, and self-worth come more easily, more strongly, and more naturally; and this is accomplished in days, not years. I aim to help individuals break free from the limitations of past trauma, cultivate resilience, and rediscover their capacity for joy and connection. If you are seeking a path to greater adaptability and a renewed sense of self, I invite you to connect.
